Kaye Hillsdon – Neuro Physio and Occupational Therapist
Kaye is a Chartered Physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist who specialises in neuro-rehabilitation. Being dual qualified enables her to provide a holistic approach when working closely with individuals with a long-term condition and individuals who have been newly diagnosed with a progressive neurological condition. This means that when helping individuals to achieve their full potential, Kaye considers an individual’s physical, psychological, social and environmental needs.
Kaye is committed to continuing professional development (CPD) as it enables her to keep her skills and knowledge up-to-date and optimises her ability to practise safely and effectively. She regularly attends courses and conferences relevant to her professions (for example, Bobath, Fatigue management, Hydrotherapy, Clinical Pilates).
Kaye is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the British Association of Occupational Therapists. She has passed criminal record checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) which replaced the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA), and has professional and public liability insurance.
Outside of work, Kaye enjoys spending time with family and friends, practising yoga, HIIT training, and horse riding. If any of her clients have their own animal(s) that she can fuss over during a home visit, Kaye considers this to be an added bonus to the working day!
