Fatigue (Tired All The Time)

Whilst it is normal for us all to feel tired from time to time. If you are tired all the time or feel constantly fatigued it is important to get to the bottom of what is causing it.

Understanding Fatigue

It may be that you are waking up still feeling tired or do not have the energy to do all the things you used to do.

Sometimes tiredness might not be the only symptom you have. Sometimes people also experience headaches, dizziness, feeling faint, weakness, not sleeping well and catching colds more easily.

What causes fatigue?

There are many causes of fatigue or feeling tired all the time. It can be caused by stress, lifestyle factors, the amount of sleep you are getting or an underlying medical condition.

Can vitamin deficiencies or anemia cause tiredness?

Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficiencies can cause tiredness as can a lack of iron in your blood and problems with your thyroid. This is why it is important to speak to a health professional to help diagnose your condition and work out what is causing your tiredness and the correct treatment for you.
