Nicci Alder Humanistic Counsellor
As a Humanistic counsellor, I offer a safe, warm, non-judgemental and confidential space where I will work with you to find the answers that you are looking for. You might want to work on a particular problem or you may have a general sense of wanting to feel ‘better’. Through our trusting relationship and open dialogue, I will work at your pace and readiness to explore your experiences and how they have impacted you. Focusing on your unique patterns of thoughts, feelings and coping behaviours, I will support you to challenge your self-limiting beliefs, so that you are more able to make robust choices, be at peace with yourself, be close to others, and live your life more fully.
I have experience in helping clients work through a variety of challenges including: anxiety, depression, stress, childhood issues, anger issues, addictions, eating disorders, lack of confidence, low self esteem, problematic family relationships, dependency/attachment issues, bereavement and loss, disability, divorce, abuse, bullying, health concerns, chronic illness, work related stress, relationship issues, life transitions.
