Rosie Waters Counsellor
Are you struggling with distressing, painful or overwhelming feelings? Do you feel stuck, sad or anxious? Are you at a crossroads in your life and don’t know which way to turn? We can all experience these feelings sometimes and if prolonged, can feel unbearable and as if no-one understands.
Counselling can give us a space to explore these difficulties in a warm, safe and supportive environment and have someone walk alongside us as we explore our world and our experiences.
I work in a humanistic, person centred way with you, the client, at the heart of the work. I believe through counselling, clients can begin to know themselves better and work towards a happier more contented life.
I have an interest in early attachments, how they shape our lives and how they influence our current relationships, especially with those closest to us.
I am currently studying for a post- graduate diploma in Attachment Based Therapy with Wimbledon Guild.
I have worked with issues such as; anxiety, prolonged feelings of sadness or unhappiness, depression, bereavement, anger, relationship difficulties or breakdown, family problems, low self esteem or confidence, self harm, childhood experiences.
I offer long or short term counselling.
I have experience of working with adults and young people (12+)
