Holter ECG

Holter ECG

A Holter ECG or an ambulatory ECG heart monitor as it is also known, is a wearable device that continuously records the electrical activity of the heart. This means that your heart’s activity can be monitored continuously rather than over a short period of time such as is the case in a normal ECG.

Holter ECG’s are useful for diagnosing symptoms that are not constant, such as palpitations or chest pain. It is often used to test for arrhythmia. It’s safe and completely painless.
