A simple first step to help you feel clear before committing to anything.

During the call, we can:

  • Talk through what you’ve been noticing
  • Help you understand whether an ADHD assessment is appropriate
  • Answer any questions about the process, cost, and timelines
  • Explain the next steps, so you know what to expect

You don’t need to have all the answers before booking.

Not sure if it’s ADHD, autism, or both? That’s very common – and we can help you work that out.

When should you consider an ADHD assessment?

You don’t need to be certain.

Many parents come to us when something just doesn’t feel right – even if they’re not sure why.

You might recognise some of the following:

  • Difficulty concentrating or finishing tasks
  • Restlessness or constant movement
  • Big emotional reactions or frustration
  • Daydreaming or appearing “elsewhere”
  • Struggles with school routines or friendships

Sometimes these behaviours are labelled as “naughty” or “immature.”
An assessment can help you understand whether there’s an underlying reason – and what support would actually help.

What a diagnosis can help with:

An ADHD assessment is not just about a label.

It can give you:

  • A clear explanation of your child’s behaviour
  • Practical strategies for home and school
  • Support for conversations with teachers or SEN teams
  • Greater confidence in how to support your child day to day

For many families, the biggest shift is moving from uncertainty → understanding.

Not sure if it’s ADHD, autism, or both?

You don’t need to work that out on your own.

Many children show traits that overlap between ADHD and autism, and it’s very common for parents to feel unsure which assessment is the right starting point.

During your free suitability call, we can:

  • talk through what you’re noticing
  • help you understand whether ADHD, autism, or both should be considered
  • recommend the most appropriate next step

Where appropriate, we can offer a combined assessment approach, so you don’t need to worry about choosing the wrong pathway.

Our goal is to help you get clear without unnecessary steps or confusion.

Signs of ADHD in Children

While every child is unique, common signs of ADHD in children include:
  • Difficulty waiting for their turn.
  • Constant talking or interrupting.
  • Struggling with organisation and forgetfulness.
  • Emotional ups and downs.
  • Impulsivity or acting without thinking.

What Happens During a Child ADHD Assessment

Our assessments are structured to give a clear outcome.

They typically include:

1. Questionnaires

Questionnaires and background information about your child’s development.

2. Additional Input

Teacher feedback helps build a full picture across environments.

3. Clinical assessment

A detailed assessment with an ADHD specialist using structured interview and validated tools.

4. Final Report

You receive a clear written report and a feedback session explaining the outcome and next steps.

We also collaborate with families after the assessment to guide you towards effective interventions and support.

What happens if ADHD is diagnosed?

If ADHD is diagnosed, we will guide you through your options.

This may include:

  • strategies for home and school
  • support for educational adjustments
  • discussion of treatment options, including medication if appropriate

We also offer a dedicated ADHD titration service if medication is something you want to explore.

What if my child doesn’t receive a diagnosis?

This is a common concern.

Not every assessment results in an ADHD diagnosis. If criteria are not met, we will still:

  • explain what we have found
  • help you understand your child’s needs
  • suggest practical next steps or alternative support where appropriate
